Lasse Kristoffersen

CEO, Torvald Klaveness

Lasse started in Torvald Klaveness in 2007 heading up the business unit Klaveness Maritime Logistics. In September 2011 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and became the first company CEO outside of the Klaveness family. He holds a Master of Sciences in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He is currently the President of the Norwegian Shipowners Association and a board member of DNV GL.

Irene Rummelhoff

Executive Vice President, Equinor

Irene Rummelhoff joined Equinor in 1991. She has a master's degree in Petroleum geosciences from the Norwegian Institute og Technology (NTH). Rummelhoff joined Equinor in 1991. She has held a number of management positions within international business development, exploration, and the downstream business in Equinor. Her most recent position, which she held from June 2015, was as Executive Vice President New Energy Solutions (NES). She is Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors of Norsk Hydro ASA.

Nick Stansbury

Head of Commodity Research, Legal and General Management

Nick joined LGIM in 2013 and is Head of Commodity Research. He joined LGIM from Revelation Capital, an equity hedge fund focusing on special situations. Prior to this, he was an investment director for Developed Asia and Global Emerging Markets at Standard Life. Previously he was an assistant fund manager at Griffin Capital Management covering convertible bonds, equity derivatives and distressed debt. Nick started his career in corporate advisory and has also worked as a software developer. Nick has an LLB (Law), and a master’s in jurisprudence on securities law, both from the University of Durham.

Jon André Løkke

CEO, Nel

Jon has been the CEO of Nel ASA since 2016. Previous to this, he has extensive experience as CEO of Norsk Titanium AS, and various senior executive positions in REC ASA and ABB Group. He is a strong believer in the important role renewable hydrogen will play in the energy transition, particularly when it comes to the decarbonization of transportation and industry.

Amy Luers

Executive Director of Future Earth

Having spent her career on issues related to science communication, data, sustainability and climate policy, Amy came to Future Earth from the Skoll Global Threats Fund where she was Director of Climate. Previously, she was the Assistant Director for Climate Resilience and Information at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Amy spent a number of years at Google as Senior Environment Program Manager. She started her career in Latin America as Co-Founder and the first Executive Director of Agua Para La Vida (Water for Life), working with rural communities to enhance access to potable water.

Auke Lont

CEO Statnett
Auke is a strong believer in Statnett's slogan: The future is electric. He has more than 25 years' experience from the energy industry, working for Statoil, Naturkraft and Econ before becoming the CEO of Statnett SF in 2009. He is currently also a board member in Bane NOR and Spekter. Auke holds a Bachelor of Science Mathematics and a Master of Science Econometrics from Amsterdam.

Marcus Ekman

Senior Vice President, Volvo Buses
 
Marcus has been Senior Vice President for Global Product Development at Volvo Buses since September 2017. He has 20 years of R&D experience from different companies, mainly within the automotive sectors, and believes that it is by focusing on customer needs and demands that we can offer sustainable transport solutions.

Kristin Færøvik

Managing Director, Lundin Norway 

Kristin Færøvik joined Lundin Norway AS as Managing Director in 2015. Kristin has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Her career started in BP where she held several technical, commercial and leadership positions both in Norway and internationally. From 2003-2010 she worked for Marathon Norge as Commercial Manager and subsequently Managing Director. From 2010 and untill joining Lundin, Kristin served as Managing Director for Rosenberg WorleyParsons. Kristin holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (NTNU). 

She is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association, a role she has held since November 2016.

Michael Lippert

Business Development Manager, Saft Energy Storage Systems
 
Michael Lippert is the Marketing and Business Development Manager for Saft’s Energy Storage Systems. Michael has played a major role in establishing Saft’s market position in Li-ion battery technology for renewable energy and smart grids. He holds a degree in European Business Studies in France and Germany and has been working for more than 20 years in different international sales and marketing positions at Saft within the Railway, Traction and Stationary markets.

Adrian Griffiths

Founder & CEO of Recycling Technologies

With extensive experience in the automotive, aeronautic and nuclear sectors, he firmly believes in technology to build a more sustainable plastics future and in the role of mass-manufacturing to enable rapid and cost effective scalability. Adrian formed Recycling Technologies to create value from plastic wastes globally. The company has developed a mass-producible machine to recycle a comprehensive range of plastic wastes back into an oil which, with refining, is suitable for use as steam cracker feed-stock for making new plastic with recycled content.

Jannicke Hilland

CEO of BKK

Jannicke Hilland has been the CEO of BKK, the largest renewable energy company in Western Norway, since 2015. She has previously worked at Hydro and Statoil in various operational positions, including platform manager, manager of Troll B and operational manager for Gullfaks. She was director of corporate safety, security and preparedness at Statoil from 2013 to 2015. She holds several directorships. Among others things, she is deputy director of the board at Energy Norway and board member of the state-owned climate investment company Nysnø. 

Jannicke Hilland holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and has a PhD in multiphase metering from the University of Bergen. She has also studied strategic leadership at the Norwegian School of Economics.

Xabier Viteri Solaun

Mr. Xabier Viteri Solaun is the CEO Renewable Energy Business, Iberdrola Group. 

Mr. Viteri Solaun’s educational background is as Industrial Engineer specialising in electricity at the "Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Bilbao" and he also holds a PDG from IESE. He was formerly General Manager of Iberdrola Energías Renovables. He has been with Iberdrola Group for more than 25 years.

Silvija Seres

Energy Transition Conference Moderator

Silvija Seres is an investor and developer of technologies and companies. Her background is from research and education within software, where she did a PhD in algorithm optimization at Oxford University, programming at Alta Vista, and leadership at Fast Search and Transfer and Microsoft. Silvia has served on more than 30 major boards in private and public sector, and her current directorships include the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, the Oslo Stock Exchange and DNV GL.
